The philosophy behind City Today is simple: to present information about nightlife and events in a clear, concise, and distraction-free way — allowing users to quickly find what’s happening without unnecessary clutter or noise.
CT.Today is a project by 👍❤️ Projects. Founded in 2014 as Drinks.Today it has evolved through several iterations over the years. Originally, the platform sourced its event data from The Capital List, which has since shut down. Today, the model has changed — venue managers are encouraged to actively contribute their updates, while the site’s administration and volunteers continue to maintain and refresh listings on a best-effort basis.
For Venue Managers: Submit Your Events
Are you a venue manager? You can easily submit your events by sending them to your venue's dedicated email address using any calendar application. Cancellation and modification are a breeze, same as scheduling any other meeting in your corporate calendar.
How to Submit Events via Calendar Application
  1. Open Your Calendar App
    Use any calendar application that supports sending invitations via email:

  2. Create a New Event
    Fill in your event details:
    • Event title
    • Date and time (start and end)
    • Recurrence period (if any)
    • Description
  3. Add Your Venue Email as Attendee
    In the attendees or invitees field, add your venue's email address:
    cityname_venuename@ct.today
    Example: If your venue is "Sky Lounge" in Abu Dhabi, use abudhabi_sky_lounge@ct.today. <
    If you haven't registered your venue yet or you don't know your venue's email address, contact the administration at providing information about the venue and an email address from which you'd be scheduling the events.
  4. Send the Invitation
    Save and send the event invitation. Your event will be automatically processed and appear on the events page within one minute.

Note: Updates to events work the same way. Just modify the event in your calendar and send the update to the same email address.

Submit Events via Email
Send event information to in any format:
  • Screenshot of event details
  • Photo of a poster or flyer
  • Plain text description
  • Social media links
  • Any other format containing event information
Submissions are automatically processed and added to the calendar. Venue pages are created if they don't exist.

Content curation is done by volunteers who send event information to events@ct.today. To become a curator and help maintain event listings for your city, contact .
